        Objective: Continue discussion of issues relating to collection
        development of the Library Science Collection.  (J. Ariel)
 
3.  LAUC Transition Meeting and stipend update  (20 min.)
        Objective:  Report from Chair and discussion of proposed
        administrative stipends.
 
4.  LAUC-I laptop computer  (10 min.)
         Objective: Update on status, assess needs of membership, discuss
        use policy.
 
5.  LAUC-I home page (http://sun3.lib.uci.edu/~lauciweb/lauci.htm)
        (10 min.)
        Objective: Discuss strategy for maintenance and addition of needed
        information.
 
6.  Professional Development Committee update (Y. Wilson) (10 min.)
        Objective:  Update membership on expected funding for the year.
 
7.  Academic Senate representation  (15 min.)
        Objective:  Discuss ways to keep the LAUC-I membership better
        informed of issues and developments discussed in Academic
	Committees.
 
8.  Guest speakers at LAUC-I meetings  (15 min.)
        Objective:  Suggest names of people from the UCI campus
        administration, faculty, etc. to speak to the membership at
        upcoming meetings throughout the year.
