This year's Committee met twice and conducted most business by email or telephone:
1. The Committee monitored the Academic Calendar this year and:
*Distributed a chart prepared by Library Personnel that noted the Libraries' progress in meeting academic review deadlines.
*Reminded the membership of the planned change to the calendar for 1996/97, namely moving the end of the review period from December to September.
*Alerted the membership to consider starting the call for the academic review process earlier than our current practice.
2. Late in the year, we received a revised edition of the _Criteria for Librarian Personnel Action_ prepared by Committee members two years ago. This edition was updated to reflect changes in the APM as of June 1994. We recommend that this document be presented to the membership for approval and distribution as soon as possible by the next Academic Librarianship Committee.
