Accommodations
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Ayres Hotel & Suites Costa Mesa under "UCI Libraries". It is highly recommended that you stay there due to proximity to the campus and the OC Airport. Cost is $125 for single plus 8.065% tax and $135 for double plus tax. Check-in time is 3:00pm and there is a continental breakfast service, Internet access and fitness center on the premises.

A few rooms have been reserved for Tuesday, May 6th and more rooms on Wednesday, May 7th for members of the Executive Council. The hotel provides a shuttle to and from John Wayne airport (on the lower level immediately across the street from the Transportation Center). Also, shuttle transportation is available from the hotel to the campus, if requested ahead of time.

Please make sure to call the hotel and book your room(s) by April 23, 2008. Reservations at this rate can not be guaranteed beyond this date.

Driving directions from UCI to Ayres Hotel & Suites:
Exit Bren Parking Structure and turn left on Mesa. Turn left at University. Turn left at second stop light with access to the #73 North Freeway. Stay in the right lane and take the first ramp on right. Take the first exit off at Birch. Stay in the center lane of Birch and go straight through two lights. The road will curve left; move into the left lane and at the corner of Redhill and Bristol, make a U-Turn and immediately after the Shell station turn into the Ayres Hotel.

Driving directions to Ayres Hotel from UCI LAUC Assembly:
Exit the hotel lot on Bristol, turning right. Stay in the middle lane and move into right lanes as you near the third light at Jamboree. Turn
right. At the second light, turn left on University. Take that to Mesa and turn right. The Bren Center Parking Lot will be on your
right.
