1. Consolidate and organize all LAUC-I archival material in one designated location. Material prior to 1992 has been organized and is now housed in the Main Library basement. Material accumulated since 1992 is currently located in SLRI (see April Love). This post-1991 material needs to be weeded and organized.
2. Recommend retention guidelines for LAUC-I material including paper and electronic formats.
3. Recommend a process whereby the LAUC-I Chair and Committee chairs weed the files according to the guidelines and add material to the archives.
4. Identify existing LAUC documents which should be retained in the LAUC-I Archives. Recommend guidelines for retention of appropriate LAUC documents.
5. Submit your recommendations and a report on your activities by June 30, 1998.
1. Identify materials which currently exist in print or electronic format for inclusion in the revised LAUC-I Handbook.
2. Suggest other material which should be added to or created for the revised LAUC-I Handbook. (Example: a glossary of terms)
3. Recommend a method for updating and maintaining the LAUC-I Handbook. Recommend whether the Handbook should exist only in electronic format and how the Handbook should relate to the LAUC-I Home Page.
4. Present a draft content outline, suggestions for additional material, and recommendations regarding #3 to the LAUC-I Executive Board in January 1998.
5. Continue working on the implementation of the recommendations after January 1998.
6. Submit a final report to the Executive Board by June 1998.
